DESCRIPTION:This is an advanced trip intended for experienced bikepackers who have either attended a previous IICL bikepacking trip\, or have personal experience in self-supported bikepacking.  Camps will include instruction on packing your bikes\, backcountry camping\, Leave No Trace principles\, trip planning\, navigating\, route finding\, backcountry safety plus much more. Instruction will take place on-the-bike as we ride a section of either the Idaho Hotsprings Bikepacking Route or the Moody Forest Loop\, enjoying the gorgeous mountains of central and east Idaho. Each route will cover roughly 65 miles through some of the most beautiful terrain Idaho has to offer. We will ride primarily on Forest Service roads while camping at dispersed sites in the Payette and Targhee national forests. \nJuly 22-25\, 2025: Advanced Trip\n•  Warm Lake to McCall to Warm Lake Loop\n•  152 miles over 4 days of riding\n•  14\,300′ of climbing/descent \nRegistration is completed in the Pit Zone.
