Details: Essential bike mechanics for beginners include keeping tires properly inflated, cleaning and lubricating the chain, checking brake pads, and ensuring bolts are tight. Learning to fix a flat tire, indexing gears to prevent skipping, and foundational skills to prevent repairs.
